National Institute on the Teaching of Psychology

The 49th Annual National Institute on the Teaching of Psychology will occur January 3-6, 2027 at our new location: the Grand Hotel in Point Clear, AL. This will be NITOP's second year at this new facility, and by all accounts our first year there was a remarkable success. 

The Society for the Teaching of Psychology will be switching to the role of exhibitor rather than sponsor, so for 2027 there will not be an STP-sponsored speaker; however, note that there are amazing keynote and breakout speakers this year, as well as a wealth of demonstrations, conversation hours, and poster sessions. NITOP is truly not a conference to miss, particularly if you've never been!
