    Assistant/Associate Professor of Psychology

    The Department of Psychology is seeking applicants for a full-time faculty position starting in August of 2022 with a specialization in any area of psychology. Preference will be given to those with experience teaching in the undergraduate classroom, who are skilled in research with undergraduates, and can teach a broad variety of undergraduate psychology courses particularly lifespan development, introductory psychology, and research methods. Review of applications will begin on March 1, 2022 and continue until the position is filled. We particularly invite candidates who will enhance the racial, ethnic, or cultural diversity of our campus.

    North Greenville University is a teaching university of the South Carolina Baptist Convention and is a tobacco and alcohol-free campus. All NGU professors are expected to be orthodox Christians who have a strong personal faith, are role models in their piety and ethics, are regularly reflecting upon how their faith influences their discipline and are willing and able to mentor students in their own relationship with Jesus Christ. Faculty are expected to teach in accordance with, and not contrary to the university’s “Statement on Human Flourishing.”
