Annual Conference on Teaching Conference Registration

This year's conference is a hybrid event, with in-person programming offered at the Omni William Penn Hotel in Pittsburgh, PA and with both synchronous and asynchronous programming offered through our conference website. In-person programming will begin the evening of Thursday, October 20th with a welcome reception. Friday and Saturday will include two full days of symposia, keynotes, posters and other opportunities to engage. Programming ends by dinner-time on Saturday, October 22nd. Your in-person registration fee includes the following meals and snacks:

  • Thursday hors d'oeuvres during the welcome reception
  • Friday continental breakfast
  • Friday lunch during Participation Idea Exchanges (PIEs) 
  • Friday hors d'oeuvres during the poster session
  • Saturday lunch during "Live from Pittsburgh" (live teaching demos) 
  • Coffee breaks throughout

If you would prefer to participate in the conference virtually, we invite you to register for the Online Only rate, which will grant you access to virtual content during and after the conference. Virtual content may include posters or symposia that were prepared specifically for virtual consumption, as well as conference materials added by the in-person presenters (e.g., presentation slides, poster .PDFs, accompanying resources, etc. — TBD by each presenter). Selected in-person content will be also be available for virtual participants. Attendees who register for the in-person conference automatically gain access to all virtual content. More information forthcoming regarding the schedule and content for the in-person and virtual components of the conference.

Please note that all attendees will be asked to agree to the following Terms and Policies at the time of registration. These Terms and Policies specify both our COVID-19 protocols, as well as a Code of Conduct for all participants.

If you need to revise or cancel your registration, please send an email to the Conference Director, Lindsay Masland, at annual-conference@teachpsych.org and copy the Executive Director at stp@teachpsych.org. Please make your revision or cancellation requests by 9/24/22 to ensure appropriate refunds and/or billing.

 Writing Workshop Participants**

* All non-members who register for the conference (online-only or face-to-face) will automatically receive a membership in the Society for the Teaching of Psychology (APA Div 2) for the 2023 year.
**Registration for the Writing Workshop is only available to those who have been accepted into the program. Writing Workshop participants do not need to register separately for the conference; that is, they should register once at the $180 rate, using the registration code provided to all accepted participants.
